Description

We are delighted to welcome you to ‘You can UDL it!’ This collection brings together case studies from educators across DkIT, who have successfully implemented Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in their own practice. UDL provides a framework for making learning, teaching and assessment more inclusive, and helps to support all our learners.

Benefit of this resource and how to make the best use of it

This impetus for this collection was the very positive response to UDL training and professional development across DkIT. Many colleagues have embraced UDL principles, and others requested practical examples of how UDL can be applied in context. The contributions in this collection showcase 11 stories of the transformative power of UDL as contributors share their UDL journeys across a diverse range of disciplines and contexts. Each story offers an insight into the innovative, manageable and meaningful ways contributors have applied UDL principles to meet the needs of all their learners, providing a valuable resource for all who wish to consider this approach.
