About the National Resource Hub
As part of the National Forum’s 2019-2021 strategy, one of our high-level indicators of success was the establishment of a mechanism for compiling and sharing open resources related to teaching and learning enhancement within and across disciplines. Designed and developed through consultation, the National Forum are delighted to deliver on this with the National Resource Hub, a searchable collection of open educational resources (OER) for teaching and learning from across the Irish higher education sector. The associated design process was underpinned by consultation, policy context and commitment. The National Resource Hub is part of the National Forum’s commitment to open educational practices, an ongoing initiative through which we all can continue to support one another in a sustainable way. Over time, the National Resource Hub will be a place to share and find OER from all SATLE-funded initiatives, OER developed as part of other enhancement-funded projects, as well as OER that have been created, adapted and/or used to enhance teaching and learning by anyone in Irish higher education.
