OEP and OER for Teaching and Learning
Open Educational Resources and Practices by Dr Catherine Cronin, Strategic Education Developer at Ireland’s National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning and well-known writer and advocate in the field. The session will explore the potential benefits, for students and educators, of using Open Educational Resources (OER) and Open Educational Practices (OEP) for teaching and learning and will include a look at how OER/OEP can be used to save time and duplication of effort in developing quality teaching and learning materials while also contributing to public knowledge. The session will share several practical examples and encourage discussion about using OER and OEP in different disciplinary contexts.
