Benefit of this resource and how to make the best use of it

Benefits:

  • Encourage workshop participants to examine convivial approaches to embedding sustainability literacies, such as degrowth and rewilding, rather than adopting a utopian/dystopian lens.
  • Develop unique reflections on embedding sustainability, degrowth, and rewilding into ed tech and design practices.
  • Model the intersections of sustainability literacies, creative futures, and learning design through open educational practices such as zine making.

How to Make Use of It:

  • Use the video as a discussion prompt for reflection on current sustainability and ed tech practices in staff development workshops or teaching contexts
  • Adapt or re-create the workshop in your own context to compare and contrast insights, for instance, in a community of practice or in your own teaching
