Description

These video resources outline basic hanging and levelling methods used in the hanging and display of a variety of wall-based artworks, as well as demonstrating safe operation procedures for basic hand tools such as a drill, jigsaw, sander and nail gun.

Benefit of this resource and how to make the best use of it

These videos are very universal in their application, and we hope educational institutes or educational centres could benefit from integrating them directly into the supporting resources that they offer to their students and staff.
The videos on Hanging and levelling artworks could be used to demonstrate practical skills and basic techniques that are relevant in many arts degree programmes, courses, and modules.
The videos relating to the safe operation of basic power hand tools are even more universal; and could benefit staff and students from an even wider cross section of courses and programmes.
These video guides offer reliable, trustworthy content that can be increasingly difficult to find when searching through online youtube videos and other similar content.
Basic practical skills delivery guides are difficult to find the time and resources available to create, and we hope that these universal video guides we have developed through the SATLE funding would be of benefit to a variety of institutes and organisations.
