Description

This resource was developed from the 2018 SATLE initiative: Higher Education Language Educators’ Competences (HELECs).

Benefit of this resource and how to make the best use of it

The sample resources highlight the richness of the discipline of language education in higher education. For each of the competence domains, you will find things to dothings to read and encouragement for participation in a variety of academic initiatives and associations. We included Irish-based as well as international references and hope you find these resources useful. The list of suggested resources is not exhaustive and will be further developed in the future, with your help, perhaps!
