Title of EventService Design in Ireland : The Opportunity for Academia
Description of Event

Munster Technological University and The Department of Teaching and Learning are delighted to be hosting a National Forum Seminar for The Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.

The event will be used to celebrate the launch of the new Masters in UX and Service Design being offered by MTU and we will be joined by world-renowned experts in Service Design and Innovation to discuss the role academia can play in supporting user-centred design in the public and private sector.

The event will be hosted by Dr Fred Creedon and we are delighted to have the following contributors to the event.

Professor Birgit Mager - President of the Service Design Network

John Lynch - Founder and Design Director of Context Studio

Dr Sarah Hayes - Lecturer in the Department of Media and Visual Communications

We will also be joined for a round table discussion by:

Julianne Coughlan - Service Design Manager at Cork County Council, and

Caitriona Heffernan - Innovation Lead at the HSE Spark Innovation Programme.
