PaPOR TRaIL is a free course on open research for Masters level and undergraduate students. It is a self-paced online course that students can
take independently and/or that can be embedded in exiting research curricula.

Benefit of this resource and how to make the best use of it

In this self-paced course students can first complete an introductory module that providing a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of open research. Following completion of this module, students can choose to complete any/all of six skill-based sections that demonstrate how to do the following open research practices:

  1. Research Integrity
  2. Pre-Registration
  3. Research Data Management
  4. Reproducible Practices
  5. Open Reporting
  6. Knowledge Dissemination
