UDL Lead position to drive the strategic priority of embedding of Universal Design for Learning across practices across the University. This work involves designing, delivering and evaluating a flexible range of professional learning opportunities and supports for staff in both teaching and non-teaching roles. Activities include: local rollouts of the Universal Design digital badges developed by UCD & AHEAD, stand-alone workshops and the development and dissemintation of a range of digital resources. These activities are complemented by nurturing a community of practice on inclusive practice through informal and formal practice sharing events. A student facing aspect of this involves raising awareness of inclusive practice amongst the student cohort through the development of a student badge in Universal Design and training for students on accessibility tools.
