The project developed an online Sustainability Toolkit providing accessible resources on climate change, sustainability, and practical actions students could take in their lives and communities. The toolkit was piloted with first-year sustainability students, with the intention of supporting future use across other programmes and the wider university. Student partners helped shape the toolkit through peer discussions, surveys, focus groups, and research conducted with staff and academics. They analysed the findings, contributed to a written report, developed online content, and supported the toolkit’s launch and evaluation. The project increased awareness of climate-related challenges while giving participating students practical experience in research, collaboration, content development, and educational resource design.
