The newly formed UCD Library Green Group wanted to foster cross campus collaboration as they believed this would assist in realising their green goals. They saw the Learning Enhancement Project as a direct route to the student cohort who, motivated by their passion for the planet, would be willing to help the Library with this task.

Involving 1st year students in the feedback process using Peer Reviews with no grading
About this initiative
The main thinking behind this initiative was to prepare students to judge the quality of academic work and then to give them the opportunity to judge the quality of their peers’ works (and by extension their own). This would allow them to be a part of feedback process and more capable of using the feedback that was generated.
