The newly formed UCD Library Green Group wanted to foster cross campus collaboration as they believed this would assist in realising their green goals. They saw the Learning Enhancement Project as a direct route to the student cohort who, motivated by their passion for the planet, would be willing to help the Library with this task.

About this initiative
EcoLoop aims to develop a comprehensive teaching toolkit designed to enhance sustainability awareness in undergraduate modules. The goal is to make a Loop-based teaching toolkit, accessible for use by academics to integrate sustainability principles, challenge-based-learning techniques and sustainability interventions into any lab-based academic curriculum. This will foster a culture of environmental responsibility and ethical awareness among students.
