The newly formed UCD Library Green Group wanted to foster cross campus collaboration as they believed this would assist in realising their green goals. They saw the Learning Enhancement Project as a direct route to the student cohort who, motivated by their passion for the planet, would be willing to help the Library with this task.

About this initiative
The initiative is a collaborative project between School of Culinary Arts & Food Technology lecture Rachel Freeman and Global Action Plan Ireland (GAP). The project seeks to engage TU Dublin’s students and staff in a climate action challenge using an interactive digital platform, which will allows participants to log micro climate actions and see each action’s impact on greenhouse gas reductions in real-time.
