The newly formed UCD Library Green Group wanted to foster cross campus collaboration as they believed this would assist in realising their green goals. They saw the Learning Enhancement Project as a direct route to the student cohort who, motivated by their passion for the planet, would be willing to help the Library with this task.

About this initiative
Reusable Bread Bags towards Greener Bakery (Culinary) practices’: Led by School of Culinary Arts & Food Technology (SCAFT) lecturer Sheona Foley the project builds on a previous project to build capacity within the school by introducing food waste initiatives. Students and staff will develop reusable bread bags for bakery students to take away unsold bakery goods.
