Generative Artificial Intelligence in teaching and learning processes of HE students: the case of language learners

About this initiative

This project was based on Second Year Applied Languages and Arts student perceptions as part of the planning process for extending Critical Digital Literacies and AI literacies .The aim was to establish the extent to which UL Second Year language students experience, perceive and potentially employ the use of Artificial Intelligence tools and the possible impact upon their language learning and performance. The results of this research informed the creation, curation and development of pedagogical practices and resources for students and language teachers.
