The newly formed UCD Library Green Group wanted to foster cross campus collaboration as they believed this would assist in realising their green goals. They saw the Learning Enhancement Project as a direct route to the student cohort who, motivated by their passion for the planet, would be willing to help the Library with this task.

About this initiative
University Labs Using Raspberry Pi and Arduino‘, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (SEEE) lecturer Damien Doheny will lead this project which focuses on monitoring the electrical consumption of a laboratory at the Tallaght campus with data broken down by service. The project will collaborate with key stakeholders including the SEEE, the Centre for Sustainable Digital Technologies, the Sustainability Office, Campus & Estates and Campus Planning.
