Teaching and learning initiative
FAIR Game – A Student-Created Academic Integrity Game
About this initiative
The project co-created an open educational resource containing more than 140 real-world academic integrity and ethical dilemma scenarios developed by students and staff. Designed for use across disciplines and teaching levels, the resource supported scenario-based discussion, reflection, and gamified learning focused on ethical academic decision-making. The adaptable scenarios could be incorporated into lectures, tutorials, workshops, quizzes, digital storytelling, online learning environments, and assessment activities. The resource enabled educators to embed academic integrity education into their teaching while promoting active learning, critical thinking, ethical awareness, and student engagement.
