About this initiative

This project aims to enhance research ethics awareness and compliance among UCC PhD students through an innovative, community-driven initiative aligned with UCC’s Strategic SATLE priorities. PEER – PhD Ethics Engagement & Resources will create a vibrant ethics learning ecosystem through:

• Interactive Workshops: Scenario-based sessions co-designed with faculty and the social research ethics committee.

• Peer-Led Learning Circles: Experienced PhD students share best practices and foster a culture of integrity.

• Digital Toolkit: Quick-access resources, templates, and video explainers hosted on UCC’s research portal.
