The project established a student-champion approach to promoting academic integrity as a positive and integral part of learning. Student champions engaged with their peers around the core values of honesty, trust, fairness, respect, responsibility, and courage, supported by an ethos of compassion and concern. Working in partnership with staff and faculty, students contributed their perspectives to institutional conversations about academic integrity. Peer-led guidance helped distinguish academic integrity from a narrow focus on misconduct and encouraged more positive perceptions and behaviours. Operating across programmes and disciplines, the project produced widely applicable resources, including guidance documents, posters, and talks. These outputs supported existing institutional policies and promoted a healthy, respectful, and responsible learning culture.
