Digital Literacy and Technological Transformations: Developing critical digital skills support for students in professionally accredited programmes

The project developed digital literacy support for students in professionally accredited programmes, preparing them to study and work effectively in rapidly evolving online environments. Its principal outputs were a self-paced online module and a public website through which the learning resources could be accessed more widely. The module addressed digital identity, ethical online practice, the responsible creation and sharing of information, the risks and benefits of artificial intelligence, critical evaluation of digital content, and safe online collaboration. Student partners contributed to developing and evaluating the resources. Through this work, they gained experience in online resource authoring, Universal Design for Learning, participatory research, peer mentoring, community building, quality assurance, and digital promotion, with opportunities to work towards relevant digital badges.
